María Luisa Galán Otero is a faculty member at Externado University of Colombia's Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She coordinates the master’s degree in high management and hotel development and holds multiple degrees, including a master’s in sustainable tourism and ICT. Her extensive experience spans tourism planning and management research, with international consultancy projects in various countries. María Luisa’s expertise includes sustainability, tourism product design, and digital transformation. She also serves on the Tourism Training Committee of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism and has received the World Gastronomy Institute Merit Medal.

Hospitality and Tourism Manager from the Externado University of Colombia.

Gustavo A. Toro Velásquez is an accomplished Hospitality and Tourism Administrator with advanced degrees in business administration and economics. His career includes leading roles such as Manager of the National Tourism Corporation and General Director of Tourism at Colombia’s Ministry of Economic Development. Gustavo has also served as National Executive President of ACODRÉS and COTELCO, contributing to significant tourism policy development and promotion in Colombia.
